Trauma & Emergency Orthopedics
Our trauma unit is built for the moments that can't wait. From road traffic accidents to gunshot injuries and multi-system polytrauma, our emergency and orthopedic surgical teams work together to stabilize patients quickly and plan definitive treatment without delay.

Yordanos Hospital's Trauma & Emergency service operates every hour of every day, staffed by orthopedic surgeons, emergency physicians, anesthesiologists, and a dedicated operating theatre team ready for urgent surgical intervention.
We manage the full range of traumatic orthopedic injury, including open and closed fractures, polytrauma with multiple injured limbs, and complex soft-tissue and bony injury from gunshot wounds and industrial or road traffic accidents. External fixation is often used as a first step to stabilize a severely injured limb before definitive reconstruction.
Our approach prioritizes rapid assessment, damage-control stabilization, and a clear surgical plan — with imaging, laboratory, and blood bank support available on site so treatment isn't delayed waiting on outside referrals.
